Who Wrote the Bible? God? Humans?

Tell me what you think?

  1. I think the bible was written by some smart people who thought they could relate Jesus's actions to God's thoughts.

But when was the bible actually created? Was it created during the renaissance or was it created before the renaissance. Was the bible created by shakespheare?

  2. "So they got a wall and covered it in glue..." HAHA! That was great. I had to watch it another time through to understand when he was joking or not.
It really makes sense though, the phrase at the end "written by humans, inspired by God." Very true.
But I wonder if we can completely trust the cannonization process of the church? hmmm.

  3. That is a very good question. Perhaps Tripp has an answer.

  4. Hmmm....Tripp give an answer? Isn't that breaking an important rule, namely Tripp giving answers?

What if you asked him about the canonization process and different ways Christians have understood it? Then he could help you reflect on it yourself with more information but not give you his answer....hmmmm...

    Let's do talk about this!

  6. I've never heard of that... hey Tripp, are you going to post a video for 19-21? and how do we know what chapter we assigned? cause, you didn't assign anyone a chapter.

  7. I liked this video, especially the beginning with the scribe trying to write the words of God with " two chickens doth not equal that of a hamster( or a marmot) thus sayth the Lord"

Michael, I like the first question that you posted, about when the bible was written. It brings up an interesting point.
